The TV series The Killing didn’t solve the central murder by the end of its first series. This article asks how upset viewers were by that lack of resolution. Critics pooh-poohed the storytelling decision. I love the lure and tease of unresolved storylines in my TV shows, but if they go unresolved for too long, I get impatient.
